Look, an update! Oooo... *sparkle*

Not a lot to report, but what there is happens to be newsworthy to me.

In regards to the art theft: It's gone! Thanks to everyone who commented and reported it. My hope is that the kid learned a lesson in this--PLAGIARISM = BAD. That seems pretty basic to me, but some folks just don't get it.

I can't remember if I mentioned Fab Four Fest back in September, so I'll mention it now. It was fun! ~Puppatoons came up to see us and brought along some of her puppets, who were just as big into meeting celebs as mine was. I should have my compilation video of that weekend posted soon. Still tweaking it just a little.

The beginning of this month welcomed GMX to Nashville. It's a new con put on by the same folks who bring us MTAC (the local anime con) every year. GMX is different in that it's an "all things geek" con--Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Literature, Brit Fandom, Cartoons, you name it. We had a fantastic first year and have high hopes that we can repeat this success next year. I have my fingers tightly crossed that I can host a panel next time. I may get turned down, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks to GMX, I will never be able to listen to "Thriller" the same way, either. A group of us attended a Thriller dance lesson put on at the con and now all I can hear are the vocalized dance steps. But hey, I can dance like a groovin' zombie now, which I've wanted to do since 1984.

Past that, about the only thing left for this month is Halloween itself! Then we start rolling into the hardcore holiday season, which will find me trying very hard to get things completed for Etsy. It will also find me being very impatient and cranky because I know how it goes for a lot of first-timers.

At least it's not eBay.
